Certificates in Early Childhood Studies

The certificate is offered in two phases, both of which prepare individuals to work with young children. Phase I provides individuals with information regarding child growth and development, strategies for effective classroom teaching, developmentally based curriculum and current research and trends. Phase II is designed to increase knowledge of administration and supervision of early childhood programs.
