Certificate in Visual and Performing Arts for Educators

This program provides participants with an in-depth examination of the arts and the role they play in educational environments. The program is designed for K-12 teachers who want to learn how to integrate the visual and performing arts into their existing curriculum and improve student academic achievement through the arts. Educators also learn how to assist their students in becoming more aware of carriers in the arts and learn about career pathways available in theater, dance, music and visual arts. Both elementary and secondary educators can participate in the program to learn how to effectively integrate the arts into other content areas.
