A team of UCR professors, middle and high school teachers create inquiry based projects and laboratory/career experiences for the sequence of science classes. Based on previous analysis of current practices, teachers are selecting supplemental materials, acquiring new content knowledge and developing curricular units that are aligned to the state standards. The overarching aim in these activities is to build student awareness and motivation for advanced courses in science. |
