ALPHA Center Programs
Teaching Teachers and Students
Designed to further the mission of the ALPHA Center, our various programs are catered to the needs of participants in the learning process at the K-12 level, and in higher education as well.
Whether it is the numerous benefits of our summer programs to students and teachers alike, to the year-long collaboration between UCR undergrads, faculty, K-12 teachers and students, each program is specifically designed to enhance the learning abilities of all who are involved.
The bringing together of minds at all levels of the learning process will continue to help raise achievement in schools, improve the curriculum taught in class, and allow students to reach for careers they may have never even considered.
Year-Round Programs
The collaboration of UCR faculty, undergrads, K-12 teachers and students, is an on going process designed to improve student achievement and bring to the forefront the best teaching practices possible, while also grooming the next generation of great teachers.
Summer Programs for Teachers
The summer is a great time for professional development, and the ALPHA Center offers several programs to help educators do just that.
Summer Programs for Middle and High School Students
The summer programs offered to middle and high school students by the ALPHA Center are designed to improve learning abilities and achievement in various fields, but the programs also offer the added benefit of keeping a student’s mind in sharp focus during a long break from school.
